<p>The machine is able to perform grinding and/or lapping operations. The machine has a disc-type tool which turns about a central axis and is driven to an electric motor. As in 2252549 It is used for machining deep hole bores. There is a holder in which the workpiece can be printed about an axis, and can be tipped about an axis at right angle. The swivel axis and the tip axis meet at a common turning point which lies roughly in the plane of the disc type tool. The horizontal tip axis is fixed and the pivot axis can swivel about it such that it can be adjusted to the plane of the disc tool. Further the longitudinal axis of the chucked workpiece passes through the turning point.</p> |
