<p>The couch for curative treatment comprises a supporting surface (10) which is pivoted about a horizontal transverse axis by mechanical and/or electronic controller set at a freely selectable pivot angle (2) in the respiratory system of the patient and adjusted according to the pulse frequency. The rhythm of pivot movement may be adjusted continuously, and controlled directly by the breath of the patient, e.g. via a pre-tensioned traction belt (13). Pref. a throat microphone, a neck electrode or a pulse electrode provides the connection between patient and electronic controller (18) for respiratory monitoring and/or pulse generation for the controller.</p> |
