Tester for axle journal and shaft - has two rings sliding into journal by press fit with neighbouring sections of equal diameter

The device is for testing axle journals and shafts, etc. and is esp. for powered vehicles. It is designed for simple operation and rapid production of test results. Two rings (A, C) slide onto the journal (1) with a press fit. The rings have neighbouring outer sections (9,al outer dia. over which a ring (B) is slid to grip both inner rings (A, C). The second inner ring (C) has an end stop face (13) for the outer ring (B). The first inner ring (A), the outer ring (B) and the journal flange (6) have butting faces. The first inner ring has a cut out (3) for the journal widening.
