Waste gas afterburner with flow deflector - has burner with perforated mixing cone and closing plate

The arrangement for thermal after burning of process waste gases is used for oxidisable, especially organic waste gases. The gas is deflected through half full turn. This deflection channel is connected to storage sections connected upstream of raw gas and downstream of purified gas. These storage sections have recirculating storage material and form regenerative heat exchangers. The single burner nozzle (8) within the gas flow deflector (5) directs flame in the flow direction. The frame is enclosed by perforated mixing cone (9). The cone outlet rim and adjacent channel walls are closed by masking plate (10). The burner has downstream blading (8a).
