<p>The underfloor air conditioning system has plates (10) incorporated in the floor each with an opening formed by a surround of e.g. aluminium in which is mounted a set of air delivery grids (15) and nearby, a set of collector grids. The partitions (17, 23) of these grids slope in various directions and give a laminar air flow with reduced turbulance. Each grid can be square or polygonal in plain view, and the spaces between the partitions are rectangular, and parallel. The delivery grids can be in a row e.g. floor, to deliver air in four different directions. For extraction, the slots need only be parallel.</p> |
