The purlins for the guttering have a U-shaped section with the centre-piece at right angles to the roof plane, and the rafters have a hair-pin shape with bent-under edges. The top U-sides (2) of the purlins (1) have upward-bent edge strips (3) with holes (4) in. The rafters (5) fit into the holes (4) in edge strips (3). The roofing sheets (8) rest partly on the edge strips (3) and partly on the bent-up edges (6) of the rafters (5). The roofing sheets (8) are in position on top of the guttering (14) formed by the purlins (1) with an intermediate Z-shaped protective strip (9). The openings (4) of the edge strips (3) have a wedge-shaped projection in their centre, fitting between the sides of the hair-pin rafters (5).
