<p>1429319 Fungicide dispersion UNITED STATES GYPSUM CO 2 Aug 1973 [14 Aug 1972] 36874/73 Heading A5E A stable aqueous dispersion comprises a fungicidally effective amount of a water-insoluble metal quinolate salt (e.g. the Cu salt), water, 2 to 40% by weight solids of a binder emulsion comprising a wax emulsion (e.g. paraffin wax emulsion), a wax-resin emulsion, a resin emulsion or a synthetic latex, and a minor amount of a colloidal suspending agent (e.g. xanthan gum, methyl cellulose, carboxymethyl-cellulose or an alginate). The dispersions find application in coating paper to provide fungicidal cover sheets for use in gypsum wallboard manufacture, or to provide fungicidal wallpaper.</p> |
