The synthetic resin pen nib has a body with a writing tip and radual slits at one end, the latter extending for the length of the body. The cross-section of the slits is greater at the middle, tapering to points at each end. The slits can join together at the centre line of the body (11), or meet the latter independently of each other. Each slit is of rhomboid cro s-section, with slightly curved sides, or of half-moon section. The writing tip is conical or rounded. The design allows the nib to be immediately used for writing at any angle, even after it has been held uppermost for a long time.
|
