PURPOSE:To improve display contrast without generating the leakage of light by forming colored films by using a photoprocess and electrodeposition method and forming another colored film by the photoprocess using a photosensitive resin on the peripheral edge part of the colored films and the remaining region where the colored films are not formed. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive resin 16 is applied on a transparent electrode 11 formed on a substrate 10 and apertures 19 are selectively formed therein by the photoprocess. The colored films 12 are formed by the electrodeposition method in the apertures 19. After the photoresist layer 26 is stripped, another colored film 13 is formed by the photoprocess using the photosensitive resin on the peripheral edge part of the colored films 12 and the remaining region where the colored films 12 are not formed. The two colored films 12, 13 are thus partly superposed, by which the spacings between the two colored films are eliminated. The display contrast is improved in this way without the leakage of the light. |
