The prefabricated, insulating lath for use in building walls, ceilings and floors has two surfaces (1, 2) made of materials capable of being nailed, stuck, stapled screwed or welded. The two surfaces (1, 2) can be of the same or different material and thickness. Between the two surface (1, 2) of the lath is a core of insulating material possessing a high degree of stability. The cross-section of the lath is square, rectangular, or trapezoidal. The two opposite surfaces (1, 2) have holes of unequal dias. in them at regular or irregular intervals for screwing or nailing the lath to the building.
