摘要 <p>A uniform illumination system gives coherent illumination of objects in microscopy, holography, projection and similar applications. Optics are provided to convert the coherent beam of coherent light (2) from the quantum source (1) into an infinite series of beams (3) radiated in parallel at an angle to the original direction. The system may comprise two or more lenses (4) forming a raster. The system provides an extension of the effective source giving full illumination of all points on the object.</p>
