<p>An oscillating spray head suitable for watering lawns, has a swinging arm designed to limit the watered area, such as near a wall or alongside a path. This arm is in the shape of a shallow S or Z, in plan view and is mounted horizontally on the supply pipe, with a return spring mounted around its spindle. The arm has a straight portion immediately ahead of the boss (6) through which the spindle passes, which receives the jet of water as it issues at an angle to the horizontal. This is then directed by a curved face so as to then impinge on a final curved part (O) which guides the spray in the required area.</p> |
