<p>The high-lift aircraft wing with propulsion equipment has a profiled leading edge (1) and a profiled impeller (3) rotating ona fixed axis parallel to the leading edge. The edge profile can be concave to allow passage of the rotor blades and direct the flow of air currents, extending through an arc of a circle of roughly 110 deg. The profiling may be such as merely to allow passage of the impeller blades, which can be profiled and arranged in pairs fixed to the same axis and in the same plane. The impeller axis can be in a plane close to that of the lower wing surface, its shaft running in bearings fitted in extensions of the wing ribs.</p> |
