Variety of Saintpaulia Ionantha violet - is cross between type IX 33 pink as male and type XVI 48 pink as female

The plant is a variety of Saintpaulia Ionantha violet and named Wega 74, being a cross between type IX 33 pink male and type XVI 48 pink female. Its flowers form a tight hemispherical bunch above a collar of flat, indented, oval, large leaves. On their upper surface, the leaves are mid green, on their upper surface, reddish: both sides are slightly downy. The flowers are single with smooth edges and are carried 6 to 10 on a stem. Each flower has five petals and is Persian Rose 628/2 in colour. They have a long flowering period and do not fall readily.
