CRT marker control device - produces modified signals in response to probe removal from target area to operate follower marker

The marker is used to determine the coordinates of a target indicated on the screen by aligning the marker with the target. The target following sphere is used with a pulsed light unit, driven discs with transparent slits, a phototransistor, and electrical pulse counters and registers. The screen has a surface for determination of the position of a probe directed at the screen. The device contains circuits producing signals dependent on the probe position corresp. to the desired marker position and which cause the marker to adopt that position.
