<p>The control of the lifters in a dobby loom is effected by an additional drop wire linking each lifter to the control drop wire. The additional drop wire is bonded to the control drop wire at one end, while the other end has a linkage connecting it to the lifter. The design reduces the time needed to change the lifters.</p> |
