Antiperspirant emulsion comprises an unsatd. soln. of an astringent inorganic metal salt in waer, an anhydrous, water-repellant carrier liq., and an emulsifying agent which is non-corrosive towards the metal container in which the emulsion can be contained, the aq strastringent salt soln. being dispersed by the emulsifying agent as a continuous inner phase in the carrier liq. so as to ensure a stable emulsion under the conditions within the container. The emulsion can be packaged in metal containers (esp. metal aerosol spray containers) without causing corrosion problems. |
