Handle for ski stick, for gripping the stick and supporting oneself on it, comprises at its lower end a transversely extending supporting plate on one side of which is a through hole, while on the other side is a downwardly extending pin with a cross-section corresponding to the hole in the other side, for reciprocal locking of the handles for transport purposes. At the top of the handle is an upwardly opening groove in which is mounted at least one clamp to which is attached a loop band, forming a fracture point of the handle. Alternately, the groove may be formed in the region of the supporting plate, with the loop band extending around the wrist when the stick is in use. The handle is pref. made of solid cold-resistant plastic with good resiliency, and the loop band is made of natural or synthetic fibres such as polyamide.
