Height adjustable manhole shaft covering - has frame consisting of outer section and inner section also in two parts

The manhole shaft covering has a cover and a height adjustable cover frame. The frame consists of an outer frame section with an upright well and a bearing flange pointing towards the shaft inside and of an inner frame section which forms the bearing for the cover and is adjustable in height. For height regulation, balancing rings are laid between the two frame sections while there is a device to connect the two frame section. The inner frame section consists of two sections (3a, 3b) which are separated by a horizontal seam and connected by screws (6). In the region of the seam adjacent to the wall of the outer frame section (2) a rubber ring (4) is so inlaid that it is pressed against the wall on tightening up the screws (6).
