The generator comprises a pair of discs each connected with a housing with a gas inlet to one of the housings. One of the discs is recessed so that when the housings are connected together with the discs in mating relationship the discs define a hollow space. Gas supplied through the gas inlet enters the hollow space and exits between the discs in the form of streams for foaming a liq. Specifically the surfaces of the discs which come into contact are roughened so that a large no. of fine apertures exist when the two housings are connected. The degree of roughening defines the fineness of the gas streams generated. The generator is used in foaming liq. cosmetics.
