The antiaircraft armament system is used armoured fighting vehicles. This arrangement makes it possible to fight all nonguided missiles as well as all those guided by wire, ultrasonics, wireless, infrared or by other control means. Electrically ignited explosive charges are accommodated either directly on the armoured fighting vehicle or on overhanging arms. The approaching missile is either destroyed or deflected in the region of the ignited explosive charges by the gas pressure and mine effect. These explosive charges can be initiated either by the armoured vehicles 2 or by electronic missile tracking devices.
