The locking mechanism is used for the combined rotating and tilting mechanisms for windows. The actuating lever is secured against rotation. The mechanism is used especially for the actuating lever which is readily fitted and which is not detrimental for decorative purposes. The window frame has a hole with a sleeve (2). This sleeve accommodates a spring loaded pin (5). Part of the visible pin projects beyond the window frame surface and it blocks the actuating level (1) or encloses the actuating lever (1) for blocking purposes. The end of this pin can have inclined face so that the pin can be depressed by the movement of the actuating lever.
