The water outlet tap has a screw valve. A sealing washer made from flexible material is placed on the closure element and can oscillate for noise suppression against a hollow cavity. The clamping method of the washer ensures good sealing effect and long life for the washer. The cavity (9) behind the sealing washer (7) is connected by channels (10) in the valve closure element (3) with the low pressure chamber (11) of the valve. The valve closure element (3) is actuated normally by a screw spindle (6) in a valve upper part (5) by moving it into the housing (4) against the valve seat (2). The cavity (9) behind the washer is readily filled with water which is pushed back and forth due to the oscillating movement for damping purposes.
