The mounting the reed relays on printed circuit cards are mounted with sufficient spacing between connections to prevent current tracking. The reed relay coil (2) is coupled directly to the circuit plate conductors using soldered connections (5, 6). The connections to the contacts of the relay (4) are made with wires (7, 8) which are soldered to two pillars (9, 10) secured to the circuit plate.
