The hot air engine has one or more hollow cylinders (1, 2) containing a number of segments with outer and side sealing vanes. The vanes are carried by a smaller cylinders (34, 35) which together with vanes fixed to the outer cylinders form chambers whose volumes are varied as the cylinders rotate. The cold working medium is pressed from one chamber (8) via a bypass (25) to a complementary heat exchanger (26) and a heater booster (27) to a second chamber (10). The second chamber increases in size as the first chamber decreases. The pressure increases due to the heated gases in the third chamber (9) effects the working piston (3) whose second chamber (7) is connected with either atmospheric air a working medium reservoir or a system working in counter stroke.
|
