摘要 <p>The district heating plant using ambient heat obtains its energy primarily from a basically conventional generating plant with a boiler (1), turbine (5) condenser/heat exchanger (10) and feed pump (19). However the turbine has an LP rotor (3) directly coupled to the generator (2) while the HP rotor (5) drives it through a clutch (4) through a second clutch (6) it drives the blower (7) of the heat-pump circuit. This circuit supplies the district heating system through a heat exchanger (11) in series with that fed from the generator turbine (5). From this the working fluid flows through an expansion valve (12) and a heat absorption unit (13). The water for this can be supplied directly (14) or after absorbing additional heat in the LP turbine condenser (17). The LP turbine steam is tapped (9) from the line (8) to the main heat exchanger. By varying turbine coupling, and steam/water circulation, a wide range of power and heating requirements can be met, with max. use of the ambient heat element.</p>
