发明名称 STACK CONSTRUCTION FOR A COMBUSTION APPARATUS
摘要
1457346 Burning smoke and waste gases; chimneys; burners KELLEY CO Inc 12 Feb 1974 [20 Feb 1973] 06270/74 Headings F4B F4J and F4T An afterburning chimney stack for combustion apparatus such as incinerators, has air supply means and ignition means at the lower end to provide a first afterburning zone and apertures providing direct communication between the atmosphere above the first afterburning zone so as to provide a second afterburning zone. Air distributers 23 deliver air obliquely upwards and burners 29 ignite the gases at the bottom of the stack. Spaced rows of air inlet ports 34 above the first afterburning zone form a second afterburning zone, and serve to regulate surges of draught in the stack. A wind shield 35 surrounds the second afterburning zone, and an upper stack section 40 of greater cross-section is spaced from the top of the lower section to provide a final afterburning zone air supply and to cool and regulate the flow of products of combustion. In a modification the first afterburning zone is in a lower stack section, the second and third afterburning zones being in separate sections, each of greater cross-section than the one below. The air distributer, Fig. 4, comprises a generally triangular body with a ridged upper surface having two or four rows of holes 26, 27 discharging air at an angle to the vertical. Each burner comprises a nozzle or atomizer 31, Fig. 5, surrounded by a shield 30 with apertures 32 for the admission of air. The lower stack section, or the two lower stack sections have a refractory lining within a metal casing, and the metal after stack section is supported from a plate 36, Fig. 2, carrying the windshield 35 by spacers 42, and is unlined. It may have a gauze cap.
