The device being attached to the frame, reduces injury to the passenger or damage to the automible through shock absorbing in collision accidents. The device includes a one-side opened cylinder (2) on a mount (1); piston (5) with inner spring (4) being inserted in the cylinder (2) and being sypported by latching piece (7); detection rod (12) being movably inserted in a holder (9). Upon collinding with another vehicle, the spring supported rad (2) is pushed backward with connecting mombers to unlatch the piece (7) of piston (5) and release the inner spring (4) in the piston so that the piston pushes out the bumper (18) with the force of the spring to absorb the shock of collision.
