<p>To make it possible to produce packaging containers having a large capacity and high durability, at least one widening form (10; 27) and at least one transport roller (11; 12) are provided. The knitted tube (5) wound in the form of a web on a flanged bobbin (7) is fed to the widening form (10) through a hole (9) and via draw-off rollers (6).
