<p>1373441 Red mud bricks GIULINI GmbH Gebr 11 Oct 1972 [12 Oct 1971] 46931/72 Addition to 1354807 Heading C1J Bricks are produced by mixing filter-moist red mud with 5-30 wt. per cent particulate water-absorbing material, mixing the resultant mixture with clay to form a mixture containing 50-92 wt. per cent (based on the dry weight of the mixture), of red mud and shaping the mixture to form brick blanks which are then dried and fired. The water-absorbing material may be cork (Example 1), peat, sawdust, fluedust (Example 3), coaldust, paper, textile waste, bentonite, silica gel, alumina gel, or a dry or substantially dry red mud (Example 2). Particle size details for the water-absorbing material are given.</p> |
