<p>Archery jacket comprises elastic means for holding it flat against the chest of the wearer, pref. an elastic band of which the ends are fixed by stitching to the inside of the jacket at the level of the seams joining the jacket back to the front pieces, slightly below the regions in which the sleeves are attached. The elastic band thus lies directly across the back of the wearer. Pref. on the outside of the jacket are reinforcing pieces located over the chest on the side of the arm used to hold the bow, and on the inner surface of the sleeve over the forearm of the arm used to hold the bow. The length of the band when not being worn is pref. less than that of the jacket back portion separating the two zones in which the band is fixed to the back.</p> |
