1,025,618. Delivering paper. SUNDS VERKSTADER A.B. April 17, 1963 [April 25, 1962], No. 15085/63. Heading B6H. [Also in Division B5] Blanks for cartons having opposed edges glued together are stacked from the top in a pile where they are continuously jogged by a toothed or fluted roller 4 (Fig. 4, not shown) whilst entering the stack and are continuously jogged whilst in the stack by oscillating plates 5 to align the edges and are discharged singly on a conveyer. A detent 11 (Fig. 1b not shown) prevents discharge until the pile is a predetermined height, activated by the armature 14 of an electromagnet 15 which is energized by a detent 12 falling under gravity when the pile is too small. The detent is raised at the prescribed height, de-energizing the electromagnet and permitting discharge of the blanks. In an alternative embodiment the blanks are fed upwardly of.the stack and when it has reached a pre-determined height the end abutment is lowered beneath the conveyer and the stack is discharged as described in Specification 1,007,044. |
