摘要 |
An alloy consisting of Nb 10-90 atomic per cent and Zr 10-90 atomic per cent is heat treated to cause an increase in the amount of at least one solid phase (e.g. at 300 DEG -900 DEG C.), cooled to retain the phase distribution effected during heating (e.g. at a rate of at least 30 DEG C. per minute) and then formed into a coil for use in a superconducting element. The alloy is preferably cold reduced at least 60% both before and after the heat treatment. |
