<p>The screw compressor is cooled by an oil bath and installed in a casing (1') to reduce noise. On one vertical side (7) on this casing is a circular opening (8), approximately central, provided with a baffle (9) around its internal circumference. A suction fan (3') rotates within this baffle, inside the casing. External air (e) is drawn in by the fan and passes over the compressor and other components inside the casing to cool them. The air is exhausted (f) through a similar opening (2') located opposite (5) to the suction opening. This exhaust opening retains the oil cooler (6), the exhaust air flow passing over its whole surface.</p> |
