The gap (7) between the inside vertical edge of a door (1) and the door frame (2) is concealed by a metal sheet (4) the same height as the door, so as to improve the appearance when the door is open. The hinges (6) are also concealed. One vertical edge of the sheet is attached to the frame by small hinges (5) and the other vertical edge is flanged, and carries a peg (8) at the top and bottom to slide in a groove (3) along the top and bottom of the door. The sheet can be shaped to conceal the edge and hinges of a door which swings back through an angle of 180 deg.
