<p>Measurement of a milk return into two chamber milk churns where the return takes place in the opposite direction to the milk flow from the two chamber milk churn because of the pump action of the self-opening teat rubber. The milk flow is measured in an indicator connected in one of the teat cups (2) of a milking machine and the reaction of the indicator in a teat rubber (11) which reacts to the wetness through the milk return is measured. More specifically, the current which is measured is one which flows between electrodes (23, 24) in the teat rubber (11) because of the wetness ensuing because of the milk return. Further, the measuring teat cap (2) is pulled down by the teat (4) and the hole provided to accept the teat (4) is closed in an air-tight manner.</p> |
