<p>The combustion power of two rockets fitted to each drive wheel is used to set the machinery in motion. Fuel is injected into the rockets whilst they are turning by means of a fuel injector pump. The valve actuating cams are screwed to the cam wheels. The cam wheels do not rotate, the valves rotate around the cams. The rockets II are arranged on the left and right hand sides of a rotor. Ignition is fed by means of slip contacts. The inlet valves on the one rotor side open immediately after ignition on the second rotor side so that two ignitions take place every 180 degrees.</p> |
