<p>The fastening method for tyre snow chains has a mechanism operated by a pull chain and arranged so that even in case that the chain breaks or becomes slack, the hold of the snow chain on the tyre is still ensured. Mounting ring (2, 2a) parts are held connected by an angle lever (1) pivoting around a point (4), hinged on the end of one part (2a). The other part (2) has at its end a fixing point (6) on which ring (3) is fitted. The leg of an angle lever (1) penetrates a ring (3) and by its shape keeps the two ends of the mounting ring in connected position and the lever remains self-locked at any force trying to separate the two ends.</p> |
