<p>The wall joint system is for lengths of plastic on the wall adjoining a flat roof. It comprises a wall joint rail-shaped bar fixed to the wall, with a sealing band fitted behind a projection, and connected retainer bar for the plastic lengths which can be welded or cemented on. A covering rail bar (9) is fitted to the wall joint bar (3), leaving a gap for convection clear (8). The upper cantilevered section (11) of this projects beyond the cantilevered projection (4) of the wall joint bar. The retainer bar (15) has a downwards facing bent section (16), and is suspended into a correspondingly upwards facing bent section (14) of the joint bar. The heads (13) of screws (2) used for fixing the wall joint bar to the wall (1) can serve as spacers for the covering rail. The sealing strip is effectively covered while permitting promotion of vapour pressure release.</p> |
