Support frame for a drilling spindle for multi-spindle operation has T-grooves and inner-and outer-contours which match the drilling bell (2) to which it can be attached by hydraulic rapid-action clamps. The frame holds the pattern which contains the hole image which is to be formed in the workpiece. In relation to this hole image, the drill spindle carrier (25) and the guide column carrier (23) are arranged outside the machine inside an assembly point. A transport carriage or frame (15) has centering elements. The assembly point is fitted with a turning frame with hydraulic swivel clamps.
