Wind deflector for roof rack - has curved profile to fit leading edges of rack frame

A curved cross section deflector is fitted to the front edge of the car roof rack to present a streamlined shape to the slipstream. The deflector reduces wind noise and buffeting and is fitted by demountable screws to the front edges of the rack side frame. The deflector can be mass produced and bent into a shape to suit a particular roof rack. It can be made as an optional extra for existing roof racks and is rapidly fitted without any tools.
