<p>Protective clothing for car driver comprises a sleeveless foam vest which reduces strong impacts in case of collision. Foam pads are provided at different locations in the car, and a flap for preventing serious injuries in case of collision, e.g. a padded flap which pivots forwards as in a chair lift, preventing a passenger from flying through the windscreen. The foam vest consists of compartmented ribs to render it resilient and movable, the foam is coated with plastic, and the ribs are joined together. The vest is provided with buttons and straps to allow it to be put on and taken off rapidly. A foam cap with a nape protector is also provided.</p> |
