PURPOSE:To enable regenerative braking even when rotation of load is stopped by detecting overcurrent flow and interrupting power supply to a motor through an output stop circuit, then releasing the output stop circuit through a restart circuit upon elapse of predetermined time thereby starting supply of regenerative braking output to the motor. CONSTITUTION:Upon detection of overcurrent, an inverter stop circuit 10 provides a stop command signal to an inverter control circuit 8 and stops power supply to an induction motor 5. Upon time-up of a timer 11, a restart command is fed from a restart command circuit 12 to the inverter control circuit 8 and power is fed again, as regenerative braking power, to the induction motor 5. When overcurrent is detected again, a stop command signal is fed to the inverter control circuit 8 in order to stop power supply to the induction motor 5 and a fault signal is fed to the outside thus finishing the process. |
