1487157 Electronic timepieces DAINI SEIKOSHA KK 6 Aug 1975 [23 Aug 1974] 32894/75 Heading G3T In an electronic timepiece having a crystal controlled oscillator circuit, the oscillator frequency is adjustable by selectively operating a switch S Fig. 2 so as to step a ring counter 4 a logic "1" at any output from which opens a respective gate G2, G3, G4 to connect a respective capacitor C 2 C 3 or C 4 into the oscillator circuit comprising an inverter I, crystal Q, R 1 , R 2 and C 1 . Simultaneously current is fed via the respective gate to a respective transistor T 2 , T 3 or T 4 , the base electrodes of which receive pulses from an output a of a frequency divider 1. Consequently a lightemitting diode D2, D3 or D4 is flashed to indicate that a corresponding capacitor C 2 , C 3 or C 4 is effective in the oscillating circuit. A 1 Hz output from the divider 1 increments a seconds counter 2, the output of which increments a minutes counter 3 which in turn increments an hours counter (not illustrated). Correction of the seconds, minutes and hours display can be effected by operation of switches S, m or h respectively. |
