<p>1487346 Locks BMR SECURITY PRODUCTS CORP 24 Sept 1974 [4 Oct 1973] 41556/74 Heading E2A Doors 12, 14 are secured together by brackets 16, 18 having cylindrical heads 28, 30 which interfit to prevent axial separation and which have aligned bores 34, 36 which may be linked by an axially movable barrel lock to prevent .lateral separation. The lock barrel 74 has plate tumblers 78, 98 of which the former lodge in a groove (84, not shown) in a sleeve bolt 62 which may slide in bore 36 so as to engage bore 34 in the other bracket member. A steel pin 58 projecting from hole 76 through the lock cylinder works in a slot 64 in the sleeve 62 and engages a slot system 65, 66, 67, 68, Fig. 9, whereby the bolt may be locked in its projected position or its retracted position. Interfitting profiles 42, 44 prevent axial separation. These profiles may be reversed. Drilling of the lock is prevented by steel pins 87.</p> |
