<p>PURPOSE:To improve the workability by installing a cable supporter, a brush supporter, and rotating brushes, bringing said rotating brushes into rolling friction contact with a sheath around a cable core, and removing said sheath from a cable. CONSTITUTION:By actuating a winder, a marked cable 1 is sent to a sheath removing apparatus, arranged between the clamp 13 and supporter 22 of one clamping apparatus 29, passed through the through hole 31 of a main shaft 10 and between a plurality of rotating brushes 5, and arranged between the clamp 13 and supporter 22 of the other clamping apparatus 29. Positioning of the rotating brushes 5 is performed and the two clamping apparatus 29 are actuated to fix the cable 1 tensely. A brush rotating motor 20 is driven to remove the sheath 2 of the cable 1 by crushing with the rotating brushes 5. Thereby the workability improves.</p> |
