In Examples 1-3 melamine is condensed with 1À8 mols of formalin, and 0À06 mols of aminoethoxyethanol are added before the condensation or before or after cooling the product, which has a water-dilutability of 350%. In Example 4 0À005 mols of aminoethoxyethanol per mol of melamine are added to a 42% aqueous solution of a commercial MF resin powder. In Examples 5-11 the products are used to impregnate alpha-cellulose decorative and overlay sheets, which are laminated to seven sheets of Kraft paper impregnated with a phenolic resin (Examples 5-8) or to two crepe and three Kraft sheets impregnated with a phenolic resin (Example 10) or to a chipboard (Example 11).</p> |
