1397660 Gyratory crushers REXNORD INC 17 Dec 1973 [24 May 1973] 58311/73 Heading B2A A gyratory crusher comprises a circumferential main frame 10, a bowl 20 mounted for .movement in the main fame 10, a plurality of rocker arms 46 disposed about and pivotally mounted on the main frame 10 or on a part supported by the frame viz a tilting ring 16 mounted on a flange 14 of the main frame 10. The inner ends 50 of the arms 46 clamp the bowl (by a clamp ring 52). Spring 33 and jacks 36, bias the outer ends of the rocker arms downwards and the inner ends 50 upwards by push rods 66 and bolts 40 so as to clamp the bowl. A top cap 60 has an outer circumferential shelf portion 62 which covers the rocker arms and the exterior of the bowl, with the lower portion 62 of the cap being in sealing relation with the main frame or with the part supported by the main frame. The tilting ring 16 is movable upwardly to free tramp material. |
