1512774 Polyesterimide stoving lacquers DR KURT HERBERTS & CO GmbH 25 March 1977 [25 March 1976] 12601/77 Heading C3R A stoving lacquer comprises a polyesterimide having an acid and number of from 10 to 50 derived from conventional reactants, a catalyst, an aliphatic amine which will react with the free-carboxyl groups in the resin, and a solvent, at least 70% by weight of which is a certain mono- or di-ether of a glycol. An example of the lacquer is one containing a polyesterimide derived from ethylene glycol, tris(2-hydroxyethyl) isocyanurate, dimethyl terephthalate, trimellitic anhydride and 4,4<1>-diaminodiphenyl methane, N,N<1> - dimethyl ethanolamine and a solvent comprising the dimethyl ether of diethylene glycol and the monoethyl ether of ethylene glycol. |
