The composite roof cladding panel has a core (1, 3) of cellular synthetic and a synthetic skin (5). The panel is rectangular with longitudinal evenly spaced identical trapezoidal section ribs (7). The ribs project on the upper surface and the longitudinal edges for each panel have complementary male-female interlocking profiles. The edge profiles may take the form of 'V' shaped channels (6) and projections (5) resp. The longitudinal edge incorporating the 'V' section channel (6) may include a bent projecting top flange (8) which fits over the edge rib (2) of the abutting panel.
